Three shortcuts make Aivah faster. Cmd/Ctrl+K finds anything. Ask Aivah, the helper built into the app, does the setup for you. And ? opens help for the page you're on.
Before you start
Sign in to your workspace. All three work on every page.
Steps
1. Find anything with Cmd/Ctrl+K
Press Cmd+K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows, or choose Ask Aivah or search in the header. Start typing to:
- find employees, conversations and web experiences across your workspace;
- jump to any page or start an action, such as New chat, Hire employee or Create web experience;
- use quick verbs for an employee: Chat with, Talk to or Deploy;
- change the theme, Add credit or open Billing;
- jump to a format's house style, such as Set PDF style;
- find Help Center guides as soon as you've typed two characters.
2. Ask Aivah to do it for you
Press Cmd+I (Ctrl+I) or choose the launcher in the bottom-right corner. You can also type a request in Cmd/Ctrl+K and press Enter. Ask in plain words, such as "Create a web experience for my support employee with a chat bubble."
Aivah opens the right pages, switches settings and fills in fields. Under each answer it shows what it did, with a one-step undo.
3. Stay in control
Aivah asks you first before it deletes or disconnects anything, spends credits, sends, shares or invites, publishes or pays. It names the item each time. Choose Allow or Don't allow. No answer within a minute counts as Don't allow.
Aivah reads the page you're on so it can help. Email addresses and phone numbers are hidden from it.
4. Type or talk
Typing works straight away. To speak, press the microphone button or choose Talk. Your browser asks for the microphone only then. Choose Start over for a fresh conversation.
5. Get help for this page
Press ? (outside a text box), choose Help for this page in the header, or pick Help & documentation in the account menu. The Help sheet shows guides For this page and a search across every guide. It also has Contact support, Developer resources and What's new in Aivah.
Good to know
Ask Aivah only opens pages inside Aivah. Your recent Ask Aivah conversation stays in your browser tab for 30 minutes. It's cleared when you sign out.
Troubleshooting
- Cmd/Ctrl+K does nothing: click on the page first, so the browser isn't focused on the address bar.
- ? opens nothing: move the cursor out of the text box you're typing in, then press ?.
- Ask Aivah is waiting for you: it's asking for permission. Choose Allow or Don't allow.
- Aivah can't hear you: allow the microphone for app.aivah.ai in your browser's site settings.
