Use this guide to create a reusable asset from the approved business knowledge of an AI employee. You will select the source employee in Productivity, configure the available options, generate one item, and verify it in the asset gallery before starting another job.
The templates, lengths, voices, response options, and limits shown in your account are the current source of truth.
Before you begin
- Choose an AI employee whose preparation status is Completed.
- Review its business knowledge for accuracy, ownership, and a current date. Remove contradictory or private material that should not appear in the output.
- Write the audience, purpose, and one useful outcome for the asset.
- For a slide deck, decide the main sections, visual mood, and desired call to action.
- For a podcast, prepare a focused topic and choose two different voices where the form offers host and expert roles.
- For a mind map, identify the central topic and the relationships you want to explore.
- Review your current usage-credit balance and any values shown in the generation flow.
Steps
1. Open Productivity
Open Productivity from the workspace navigation. The page contains the generation controls and the gallery of supported work created earlier.
2. Select Agent
Use Agent to select the AI employee whose knowledge should be the source. Wait for the readiness check before continuing.
If the employee is still being prepared or has a failed source, return to Agents, resolve the status, and test the knowledge before generating content.
3. Choose Slide Deck, Podcast, or Mind Map
Open the type selector and choose one output type.

4. Configure Slide Deck
For a slide deck, choose Edit and review the styles and lengths offered in your workspace. Add a clear focus that covers:
- The audience.
- The decision or learning outcome.
- The key sections.
- The desired visual mood.
- Whether facts, charts, examples, or a call to action are needed.
Save the settings when they match the source material and purpose.

5. Configure Podcast
For a generated podcast, choose Edit and review the offered length, host voice, expert voice, and focus. Use different host and expert voices, and write a focus that requests short spoken turns, one question at a time, a clear opening, and a useful closing summary.
Save the settings after previewing any voice choices available to your account.

6. Configure Mind Map
For a mind map, select Mind Map and provide the focus requested by the current flow, when available. Mind maps arrange the source's key topics and supporting ideas into an interactive structure for planning, study, summaries, and relationship exploration.
7. Choose Generate
Review the selected employee, type, and settings, then choose Generate once. Keep the source employee unchanged while the job is being prepared.
Do not start a duplicate immediately if the result does not appear. Wait a few minutes, refresh the gallery, and check the conversation and AI Drive before trying again.
8. Open the result from the asset gallery
When the result appears, open it and verify it against the approved source and your requested outcome.
For a slide deck, check the structure, facts, examples, and final action. For a podcast, listen for accuracy, distinct voices, pacing, and a clear ending. For a mind map, open and collapse nodes to check the hierarchy and relationships.

9. Correct the source before regenerating
If the output contains a wrong or unsupported statement, check whether the issue comes from missing, outdated, or conflicting business knowledge. Update the source or instructions, wait for preparation to complete, and test privately before generating a replacement.
Expected result
A new slide deck, generated podcast, or mind map appears in the Productivity asset gallery and opens successfully. Its main claims match the selected employee's approved knowledge, and its format, length, voices, and focus match the settings you reviewed.
Status meanings
The source employee's preparation status determines whether it is ready to use:
| Status shown | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending or Processing | Aivah is preparing the employee or one of its sources. | Wait and check its details later. |
| Completed | Preparation finished. | Test the source, then use it in Productivity. |
| Failed | The employee or a source needs attention. | Correct or replace the source and use the available retry action. |
The reviewed guide does not define a separate set of content-generation status labels. Use the visible progress and the appearance of the item in the gallery as the confirmation for that job.
Usage credit impact
Content generation is supported activity and may consume usage credits. This guide does not publish a fixed price, formula, or output allowance. Review the current value shown in the workspace and your available balance before choosing Generate, and avoid duplicate jobs while a result may still be preparing.
Information stored or shared
- The request uses the selected employee's business knowledge and the focus or settings you provide.
- Completed work can be stored in the Productivity gallery. Supported items may also be available from AI Drive or the source conversation.
- A downloaded asset creates a copy outside Aivah. Store, review, and share that copy according to your organization's rules.
- Do not use general business knowledge to store private customer records, passwords, payment details, or secret connection values.
Limits and permanent actions
- Available output types, templates, lengths, voices, and limits can vary by account. Use the current workspace choices rather than values copied from an older guide.
- Generated output can still contain mistakes or omit context. Review every asset before presenting, publishing, or using it for a decision.
- Productivity and AI Drive are separate views. Not every item is guaranteed to appear in both places.
- Deleting an item from the available gallery may not be recoverable. Open it, confirm its name and source, and save any approved copy before deletion.
- Avoid changing or deleting the source employee while a job appears to be preparing.
Common problems and recovery
The employee cannot be selected or is not ready. Open Agents, review its overall status and each source, retry failed preparation, and return only after it is Completed.
Generation appears stalled. Leave the source unchanged, wait a few minutes, refresh the gallery, and check AI Drive and the original conversation before starting a duplicate.
The asset contains a wrong fact. Find the approved source for that statement, remove conflicting or outdated material, tighten the employee instructions, retest, and then generate a replacement.
A generated podcast uses the wrong voices. Open Edit, choose different host and expert voices from the current options, save, and generate a replacement after checking the source.
The result is missing. Check the Productivity gallery, Integrations → AI Drive, and the conversation associated with the work. Refresh each view before generating again.
The wrong item was deleted. Do not assume it can be restored. Check AI Drive, the original conversation, and any approved downloaded copy; otherwise regenerate from the verified source.
Next step
Follow Find generated work to locate, open, and download supported assets. Use Studio Podcast when you need a temporary live two-host conversation rather than a prepared generated podcast.
